Multiple Myeloma action month March 2018:

Thanks to medical innovation, Multiple Myeloma patients are living longer than ever before. Multiple Myeloma (MM) is the second most commonly diagnosed blood cancer after non-Hodgkin lymphoma, yet few people know much about this deadly disease. The American Cancer Society’s estimates for multiple myeloma in the United States for 2018 are:
• About 30,770 new cases will be diagnosed (16,400 in men and 14,370 in women)
• About 12,770 deaths are expected to occur (6,830 in men and 5,940 in women)
