Every March, people around the world come together for Myeloma Action Month to raise awareness, inspire action, and amplify the voices of those impacted by multiple myeloma.

Myeloma Action Month is about the people, families, care partners, health professionals, and communities who refuse to be defined by myeloma.

How you can take part:

  • Wall of Action – Share your story on social media about what makes you #MoreThanMyeloma Use the hashtags #MoreThanMyeloma and#MyelomaActionMonth it will show up on the wall of action on myelomaactionmonth.org
  • Light the World Red – Light the World Red is a global awareness campaign for Myeloma Action Month in March 2026, uniting landmarks worldwide to illuminate the night sky in red—the signature color of multiple myeloma awareness. The campaign culminates on March 26, World Myeloma Day, when landmarks worldwide will simultaneously light up to send a powerful message of hope, raise critical awareness, and honor the courage of those fighting multiple myeloma. By transforming our skylines into beacons of support, we aim to spark conversations, educate communities, and accelerate progress toward better treatments and a cure. New Zealand locations are below or check the map on myelomaactionmonth.org Keep checking back as we are expecting to add a couple more during the month.
